Ferro Silicon Magnesium refers to an alloy prepared by adding calcium, magnesium and rare earth to ferrosilicon. It is also called magnesium alloy spheroidizing agent. It is added as a spheroidizing agent in the production of ductile iron to make flake graphite into spherical graphite. It can significantly improve the strength of cast iron, and has the functions of degassing, desulfurization and deoxidation. Among them, magnesium is the main spheroidizing element and has a direct influence on the spheroidizing effect of graphite. The use in the metallurgical and foundry industry is increasing.
