Silicon Barium Alloy is widely used in steel making, cast steel and foundry industry. It is a high-efficiency, long-acting, deoxidizing agent with desulfurization and dephosphorization. It is especially suitable for large thin-walled parts, uneven wall thickness and thin and cold parts. Casting can be used to improve the quality of castings.

Casting:

1. Inoculant is suitable for gray cast iron and ductile iron, which can promote the formation of graphite balls of "A" type graphite.

2. It can nucleate in a wide temperature range, has strong spheroidizing ability and anti-recession ability, and can effectively prevent the tendency of casting white mouth.

3. The deoxidation effect is more thorough, superior to other deoxidizing alloying agents, and the amount added is 35-50% of Ferro Silicon 75#.

Steelmaking:

1. The Silicon Barium Alloy containing Barium 105-35% is used for steelmaking deoxidizer, has high utilization rate and strong desulfurization ability, and is superior to Silicon Barium Alloy.

2. The addition of Silicon Barium Alloy can make important changes in the nature and distribution characteristics of non-metallic inclusions in steel making.

3. Adding proper amount of silicon germanium alloy to steel can improve the plasticity and toughness at high temperature and low temperature. Silicon Barium Alloy is more effective for improving the cold resistance of steel.
