China unveils plan to underpin industry, education integration
BEIJING, Oct. 10 -- China on Thursday published a plan on advancing a national pilot program for the integration between industry and education to promote the development of education, talents and industry and high-quality economic growth.
According to the plan, around 50 cities will carry out trials of integrating the industry and education in the next five years, and a number of industries with distinctive regional characteristics that integrate industry and education will be built.
The country vows to cultivate more than 10,000 enterprises under the pilot program during the period.
Priority should be given to improving development plans and allocation of resources, advancing reforms in talent cultivation and lowering institutional transaction costs, according to the plan.
The plan also stresses the full implementation of policy incentives such as fiscal and education policies.
