Hong Kong International Airport will implement flight rescheduling on Tuesday, with flight movements expected to be affected, airport authorities said in a notice published on its official mobile app.

To ensure a trouble-free journey for mainland bound passengers, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has made arrangements to increase transit capacity, relax refund and alteration procedures.

Operations at the airport have been seriously disrupted and all flights have been grounded after protesters swarmed into the airport terminals on Monday, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded.
